Contest Rules

By submitting work to the Foothills Media Photo Contest, the contestant agrees to all contest rules and guidelines. Foothills Media retains all rights to each submission to this contest. For an image to be considered, there are two requirements: 1. The image must be submitted via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email at feedback@foothillsmedia.org. 2. The image must have the hashtag #FMNPhotoContest attached. Contestants are only eligible for one prize regardless of the amount of submissions chosen. Once winners are selected, prizes will be distributed as follows:

 - 1st place winner will receive a $50 gift card/Monrovia bucks voucher.

 - 2nd place winner will receive a $25 gift card/Monrovia bucks voucher.

 - In addition, winners will have their images enlarged, framed, and displayed in our studio, on our website, foothillsmedia.org, or in the Monrovia newspaper.

Remember, all submissions must be received on or before 11:59 PM on Monday, November 16th, 2015 to be considered.

Guidelines

Though all submissions will be reviewed and considered, photos that represent the sense of community and culture embodied by the city of Monrovia are preferred. We are looking for images that display KGEM studio, our staff at work, and our producers and their work as well. In addition, we are looking for images that suggest the rich history of our artistic contributors both at the community and professional levels. All guidelines are simply suggestions and not requirements for entry. If a contestant has a photograph that does not fit the guidelines, they are still free to submit it.
