If you’d like to have your own show, you’re in the right place! Monrovia’s “Do It Yourself TV Station,” programmed by you and your fellow Monrovians.
Here are the basic requirements:
You must work or live in Monrovia. You will need to use your Monrovia address when filling out all Community Media of the Foothills paperwork. We don’t deliver to P.O. boxes or to addresses outside Monrovia.
Don’t live or work in Monrovia? Sorry, you can’t produce a show for us. Why not? Well, our funding is derived from the City of Monrovia and their contract with the cable operators working in Monrovia. Other cities are responsible for deciding how their cable revenue is used, so feel free to contact your local city hall and find out about public access in your community! We are, however looking for volunteers to help out on all kinds of programs, these people need not live or work in town.
Okay, so you work or live in Monrovia? Then if you’re a minor you’re going to need an adult to co-sign your paperwork for you.
Once you’ve got all that clear then you’ll need to attend our next volunteer orientation to begin the process.
