CMF 2011 Election Results

As Election Inspector, I received ballots from members of the Community Media of the Foothills for the 2011 election of the Board of Directors. In accordance with the ballot, there were four open seats and five candidates.

The candidates were Rena Delgado, Ameer J. Elahee, Dr. Gigi Johnson, John Johnson and Bob Melisso.

Each member was entitled to cast one vote per open seat for a maximum of four candidates per ballot.

I received a total of sixty-seven ballots. Eight ballots were not counted because seven were not signed by the voting members on the outside of the envelope as required and one member voted for all five candidates. I therefore counted a total of fifty-nine

ballots which were timely received and properly completed.

The results of the election were as follows:

Rena Delgado 53 votes

Ameer J. Elahee 14 votes

Dr. Gigi Johnson 51 votes

John Johnson 52 votes

Bob Melisso 55 votes

As a result, Rena Delgado, Dr. Gigi Johnson, John Johnson and Bob Melisso received the most votes and were elected to the Board of Directors to fill the four open seats. I hereby certify the results of the election. If you need any further information, please contact me.

E.D.’s NOTE: The new CMF Board decided at the September 29th, 2011 Annual Meeting to appoint Ameer Alahee to the seat previously left vacant by board member Susan Hirsch who was elected in 2010.
