Community Media of the Foothills is made up of many incredible volunteers and a few dedicated staff, all of who work very hard because we each find our own personal meanings within community media right here in Monrovia. The result is that we’ve become a small, nevertheless integral, piece of what makes our community special. Community Media of the Foothills provides a conduit for artistry, expression and information thereby providing important connections between the members of the Monrovia community. Effective communication is a key aspect of making Monrovia an extraordinary city.
Community Media of the Foothills is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in the City of Monrovia, California. We started in the early 1980′s and have grown quite a bit since. In the structure of the organization the community takes top priority. Our members decide the election of our Board of Directors. The nine volunteers who make up the Board of Directors then set policy, the budget and hire the lead staff.
